Chilla or cheela are Indian savoury pancakes or crepes. Depending on different regions of India, there is a wide variety of chilla using various lentils, flours and vegetables. I often make Besan Chilla and Moong Dal chilla at home, as it is not only delicious but loaded with nutrition. This recipe is my take on even healthier version as it is loaded with vegetables. The vegetables give a natural sweetness and earthiness to the chilla and also makes them amazingly light and crispy.
Vegetable Moong Dal Chilla is one of those forgiving dishes that you can make variations depending on the vegetables available at home and your choice. It is super easy to make these vegetable moong dal chilla too. The batter comes together very quickly. The most important thing for this recipe is to soak the moong dal in time and rest comes together very quickly.
